Our Team
I am proud to be a pioneer graduate of this experimental youth collective under National Gallery Singapore, in line with Light to Night Festival 2021.
Our team compromises of 5 youths with diverse creative passions and skill sets alongside one Gallery staff that mentors us throughout the 7 months (July 2020 - January 2021) in preparation for Light to Night Festival.
Our Event
As the Kolektif Space is by youths, for youths, we were going for a quirky outlook with a cheeky touch to our station at the Kolektif Space inside National Gallery Singapore.
In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, we created a space that is accessible physically as well as digitally. For the physical site, we held a zine-making workshop where participants would engage themselves in crafting a zine of their own. We also collaborated with Zine Artists and Designers by showcasing their works at the event for our participants to gain inspiration to craft their own zines.
